About us

The Education Publishing Company Ltd (EPC) is an independent magazine and journal publishing house that was founded in March 1996 to publish the magazine Education Journal. Originally a monthly publication, then published every other month, from 2012 Education Journal has been published weekly except during the academic holidays.

We launched our second publication, Education Parliamentary Monitor, in November 1996. While originally a print monthly, it has for two decades been an electronic weekly. It is published in a weekly edition and a cumulative edition updated weekly.

Over the years EPC has published a number of other titles, sometimes on behalf of other organisations. Its current stable of titles, all of which now are owned by EPC, includes the weeklies Education Journal, Education Parliamentary Monitor, Basic & Workplace Skills Bulletin and 14-19 Learning and Skills Bulletin and two titles published three times a year, Education Journal Review and Literacy Today.

The Company established the Education Publishing Company of Australia, the Education Publishing Company of Canada and the Education Publishing Company of New Zealand Ltd, with the rest of the world outside the UK serviced by Education Publishing Worldwide Ltd.
